Great views and good food!

I had been looking forward to coming to Top Deck for a couple weeks for a nice meal with a nice view. Turns out I got half of what I was looking for, the view was amazing, perfect location and the reason for two stars. However, the service was perhaps the worst I have ever experienced. My girlfriend and I waited for 45 minutes without being helped before leaving. However, it was not totally the server's fault, they were severely understaffed with only 1 waitress to serve the entire restaurant. We were extremely disappointed that the only interaction we had was asking for menus which we never received. The view was amazing, we wish we could vouch for the food and drinks.

Cool place to go hang out, very good drinks and friendly staff! Great view of the river.

Food was so so. The view over the river was fabulous. Prices were fair to high for what was served. Wouldn't rush back.

Love the atmosphere! I could sit up there all day. Has a great rooftop view! The modern clean coastal decor. I haven't had any food but, my mojito was awesome!

The views are great, watch ships come and go or watch all the people walking around. Service can be a little slow outside but if you on vacation that shouldn't be an issue. We received drinks quickly but had find someone to get out check. Over all a good experience.

Stopped here for a roof top drink. Very nice view of the bridge. Reasonably priced draft beer, lots of local/craft options to choose from. Ordered a pretzel with truffle and Black Sea salt. Dipping sauces were beer cheese, yellow mustard, and humus. Cheese and mustard were fine, hummus had no flavor at all.

Skyline views of Savannah riverfront, cheeky drinks, decent prices and utterly gorgeous ambiance. This tourist favorite is a must to take in a break and a view. The staff is fast, service is polite. Pricing is moderate, but worthy of getting a quick drink.Make sure you time the magic hour as sunsets here are amazing.

This establishment has amazing views of the river, just an all around friendly and inviting atmosphere, we brought in the new year here and we will never forget the memories or the people we met that night!

Great location in the historic district. Great view compared to the other locations. I highly recommend visiting this establishment if you are in town. The place seems more modern compared to other bars. I would come back here again.

Good food, great atmosphere. Panoramic view of Savannah including Bay St. and the River. We had a delicious flat bread meal and some Prosecco. Yummy!

Went up to hang out and watch the sunset for the 4th of July. Drinks were good and bartenders were nice. I know they were busy so getting a drink took a minute and closing out wasn't a quick thing. The thing that bothered me was someone was behind the bar. I asked them for a beer and their response was I'm a server I don't make drinks for the bar. I mean I just asked for a can of beer. The food was good and the view made up for it.

My husband and I went up on Friday around 2:30 and watched the sun fall down over the city. It was AWESOME. Great little spot with a view!

To put it simply, our experience was not good at this location. We went in for lunch today only to find out that several items on the menu were not available. What we did order came out in a brown cardboard box; something not expected due to paying about $12-$14 for each persons meal. The overall service was not terrible but our waiter did not go above and beyond to make up for the less than expected experience. The food did not come out at the same time and portions were skimpy to say the least. I would advise anyone to take advantage of many other dining options throughout savannah.

Really neat place, you can sit down and enjoy the river, and watch the street down below. Really a great place for a romantic time as well.

Loved the location, drinks were not as expected but ok.

My wife and I came here for drinks and some food as we were staying in the hotel below, just got done driving 14 hours so we didn't want to spend a lot of time looking for a place. So here is where we chose. She got a Margarita that tasted nothing like one. We got a new one and it was a little bit better so we let it slide. Then we ordered Tacos and Chicken Wings. Horrible mistake. Fortunately enough they did take the Wings off the bill. They were cold in the middle and the skin came off in one rubbery piece that you couldn't chew. The Tacos I choked down just for the sake of eating. I give two stars for trying to make amends, that I appreciate. Honestly wouldn't go out of my way to stop here.

My husband and I love Top Deck. Last year we visited in March to enjoy drinks in the evening and when we came back to Savannah this year we had to go again. This time we got food and they did not disappoint. I got the Antipasto Salad which was very good! If you are a fan of charcuterie boards, this is like that but in a salad form! This is such a great place for food, drinks, and of course the views!

We go to Top Deck each time we visit Savannah. The quality of location and service has always been excellent. The outside area is where we commonly enjoy our time but this time we sat inside and got wonderful service from Erebus. Erebus made us well crafted drinks, was super friendly, and truly elevated our experience. Thank you for the great service! We will be back soon!

Nice place with good drink selection and oh that view!

Service was inattentive and “too busy” to attend to customers. We had to find service anytime we wanted to order. Drinks took 30 minutes and were dressed up well drinks. We placed an order for a flatbread pizza and spinach dip that took over an hour to come and the spinach dip never came. flatbread came out cold. servers blamed the kitchen but we noticed plates and plates of food stacked in the kitchen window when we left. While the view was beautiful, it was overshadowed by the awful food, drinks, and service. would avoid at all costs.

Top deck bar is a great date-night place either by yourself or with another.It has the best views of the river and the city, both. I sat facing the bridge and had the best sunset view of everyone at the bar, in my opinion.The menu was fair-priced and I noticed they had $4-$5 beers.If I lived in Savannah I would come often for a drink and the sunset views.

The great views is all you need, good drinks and good bites just add a little something extra.

Stopped here for a quick drink before my dinner at another place. The deck has an amazing view of the river. It is a great vantage point to see the sunset.

This is my favorite roof top bar in Savannah and on the river. The drinks are good and the staff are friendly. It’s got a good vibe.

The service here is fantastic, everyone is so friendly. Our server Kat was so fun and attentive. We have stayed in Savannah the past two days and we went here the first night and had to come back the next. Immediately (the second night) she took over our table and provided us fantastic service yet again. The food and drinks are to die for. Not to mention the sunset view. Highly recommend a visit.

Beautiful view but the service was awful. Our waitress never really came around and when she did she barely spoke to us. My boyfriend always had a empty drink and the waitress would walk by and not ask if we wanted another drink. If it wasn’t for the view we would have left right away instead of spending all evening waiting for another drink.

Some great views and a pleasant place or on the deck area for an end of evening drink.

Loved the cozy atmosphere on the roof with a drink in hand! The restaurant was separated from the bar area on this roof but wished they would have had a server at least offering appetizers as I had planned to order something small with my drink. Great views of the sunset though! On a Friday or Saturday night you woulda thought they would have more then one bartender the poor lady was alone back there making drinks non stop but she did good and my drink was perfect!

Absolutely the best view and ambiance. Server was gracious and amusing. Challenged me on a delicious IPA. Evening view was spectacular. A do not miss destination if you visit Savannah.

We spent 7/4 there & there was only one server for the entire roof top. A guy cleaned our table & brung us waters when we asked. We asked the same guy maybe an hour later could we order something, he told us to ask the lady which we then discovered he was only a busser. We flagged her down & asked her could we order? She asked if we had a server? ...She gave us time to look over the menu, but she forgot about us and maybe 20 mins later my husband had to go flag her down & she apologized & admitted she forgot. I didn’t make a big deal because I could see she was being pulled in every direction. One server per roof top on a holiday is ridiculous! They need more staff & maybe some customer service training. I didn’t even know her name. The wings could have been cooked longer, the skin was soft & flabby. Other than that, the scenery was beautiful.

This place has an amazing view of the river front bridge gorgeous at sunset. Get there early for great food and an amazing sunset view! 😍

Nice staff, let me launch and fly my drone from their roof seating. While I did not have any myself, my party said that the pretzel and dip appetizers they got were good.

Very slow kitchen, food is unfortunately quite overpriced for what you get. The view is great though. Would not come back.

Nice place to come watch the sunset from the rooftop bar however the property development and the crane nearby are obstructing part of the view. We came by on a Monday night for drinks and an appetizer. We ordered the smoked salmon flatbread and it was awful. The flatbread was a little stale and the flavour of the bread did not work with the taste of the salmon, capers and cream cheese. Probably best to come here just for drinks and the view and avoid the food.

Beautiful view and nice atmosphere. Most people come here for the views and drinks. Enjoy 🍻
